Chantal changed our lives. We had months of broken sleep holding my daughter to sleep, frequent night wakings and short naps. After reading Chantals reviews I was hopeful we would see some improvement but what we got was a completely new baby. After one night with Chantal our baby was sleeping through doing all her naps and rarely waking. If she did wake she settled herself. The most unexpected change was the change in our babies personality she is so much happier when she is awake now because she is getting a much better sleep than when she was sleeping on me. I wish I had contacted Chantal sooner. Sleep deprivation is considered normal when you have children but it shouldn't be. We are a different family now we are all getting a good night sleep. Not one to write reviews usually, I feel compelled to share with other exhausted parents the magic that is Chantal. I contacted Chantal as my 8 month old was contact sleeping for all sleeps, many nights I've had to pace with him through the night. Needless to say, I was at wits end by the time Chantal arrived. The magic of Chantal went beyond the techniques (which I've heard before, having completed a residential program), but more so in her style in how she SAW my needs and how she gave me the confidence in implementing those techniques. Her gentle, but no nonsense approach guided me through what I thought would take weeks to resolve. Imagine my surprise when my son started putting himself to sleep by the third day! For any parents wondering if they should call Chantal, I say 'do it', you could be just a few days away from much needed sleep.

Chantal was recommended to us by two friends, and I got in touch with her as my 4.5-month old would nap in my arms only, after sometimes hours of rocking and soothing. He would cry hysterically if my partner tried to rock him, or if we tried to get him to sleep in his cot, the pram, car, or anywhere else! Bedtimes were also a very long and exhausting process. After filling in a detailed questionnaire, Chantal came to our house timed perfectly so she could demonstrate how we should settle our little one for bedtime. Instantly she had a calming yet confident presence - although I was nervous to try any new techniques I felt reassured as her approach for young babies like ours is hands on and comforting. After less than ten minutes our baby had fallen asleep in his cot! To say we were shocked was an understatement - I was so glad that she had demonstrated it for us because I may not have believed it was possible! She then stayed and answered all my questions (I had a lot!). The next day Chantal sent us detailed notes on how to do the settling as well as other general notes on sleep routines, wake windows and other tips. I was still a bit anxious but Chantal reassured me via text message and that gave me the confidence I needed to persevere. Within days we had our baby settling himself to sleep in his own cot for bedtime and naps with minimal assistance within 5 minutes. Learning to self settle means he also has started to nap "on the go" - making it easier for me to get out and about as he will now happily nap in the pram or car. Three weeks on from Chantal's initial visit and our lives have completely changed. Bedtime and naps have become so much less stressful and exhausting, and now I can actually have a cuppa or get things done around the house while my baby naps. Thank you Chantal. I'll be recommending you to anyone who will listen!

Chantal has delivered immediate results, resetting our bed routine for a busy 6 and 4 year old. The boys have responded immediately to her suggestions, and it's a much calmer house of an evening now. I would highlight recommend for anyone struggling with older kids that refuse bed time!
